I am currently working as a Foundation Stage 1 teacher at The School of Research Science Dubai. My job role is to create a warm, caring and stimulating learning environment for the children to thrive in. I teach and support children with English as an Additional language (EAL), planning lessons that are educational and relevant to each individual child, liaise with parents and other professionals. I manage a classroom of 29 students the majority of which are EAL and 2 SEN children. I strive to create a bilingual learning environment along side my Arabic teacher. We meet weekly as a whole department to discuss any issues. I am sensitive to each child’s individual needs. I am also responsible for observing, monitoring and reporting children’s progress and development. Responsibility for the safety of the children in my care is an important aspect of my work. I ensure that I act as a positive role model and I am approachable for both the children and their families. I ensure I use appropriate language, treat all children and their families equally and in a non judgmental way. I am respectful of other peoples beliefs and religion and do not tolerate bully or non-inclusive behaviour.
Providing a warm, caring and stimulating environment for the children and supporting their confidence in approaching new and challenging activities. Implementing all aspects of the curriculum, record aspects of children’s learning, being aware of child at the centre and taking forward children’s learning. Working with parents for the good of the child. Being responsive to both parents and children. Being a good role model and displaying good practice at all times. Planning a wide range of learning experiences to meet the needs of all individual children. Being aware of current legislations and law, being aware of children’s rights and safe guarding these. Being aware of child protection polices, dealing with multi agencies such as social work, social services, health care professionals and educational psychologists. Implementing and planning lessons through the Curriculum of Excellence, enabling children to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities: My role as a telesales agent was to work on many different campaigns and call clients to offer them upgrades or new products and policies. I worked with clients and customers on the phone verifying information, entering information onto the system, explaining the products or policies, answering questions and adhering to standards and guidelines. I worked as part of a team and alone to reach daily and weekly targets.
