• Take ownership of problems from any internal client, and follow path of escalated contacts to insure the problems are resolved in timely and effective ways to the satisfaction of the administrator.
• Accessing routers, switches to check for client ports whether they are active and patching them accordingly.
• Looking into network issues related to internal hardwired LAN and wireless networks and resolving them.
• Access to tacacs servers(linux) and creating profiles for the clients for access to network storage devices, routers, switches etc on these servers.
• Access to linux pop3 email servers, and troubleshooting the email issues from the server side.
• Handling all windows operating system issues and other system hardware issues.
• Working on applications like Microsoft Outlook for email issues, Connected dataprotector for backup issues and Cisco VPN.
• Handling wireless applications like Funk Odyssey, Aironet and Ipass for wi-fi connections.
• Access and use to all tools available for the Cisco internal accounts like backup accounts, softoken VPN accounts, Email servers and AD account used for troubleshooting issues.
• Working on users active directory accounts, creating work groups on different file servers.
• Creating mobility access and configuring email access on mobile devices and troubleshooting them for issues.
