• Responsible for doing the initial vital signs of the patient.
• For patient’s Physical Assessment
• Give medications by, oral, parenteral, IM, IV, Subcutaneous, vaginal, rectal and
topical
• Charting Nurses Notes and Vital Signs
• In initial assessment as patient arrive in the Emergency Room.
• Coordinates with other members of the health care team such as the dietitians
• In administering Doctor’s orders.
• In giving first aid and health teachings to the patient.
• Monitoring the patient for the first 2 hours in the Emergency room.
• Carrying out Stat laboratories upon admission. Use proper techniques for dressing
changes, insuring infection control
Provide health care, first aid, emergency response Perform physical examinations,
assessments and vital signs
• Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment & supplies, to ensure stock of
supplies are maintained in Dental and other areas
Responsible in total patient care
