Construction of Oil and Gas Facilities, Pipelines, Refineries, and Storage Tanks (Project Cost : Php 2.1 Billion)
● Accurately estimate costs for labor, materials and equipment to minimize financial risk and lead to significant savings.
● Prepares project quantity take-offs and Bill of Quantities and is responsible for the preparation of variation orders if any.
● Responsible for the construction contracts to help negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
● Oversees and updates the entire construction process from design to completion and coordinates the efforts of other departments to ensure that the project is completed on time.
● Assigned to monitor costs in pipeline construction, storage facilities, and transportation networks.
● Manages project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
● Prepares and submits daily progress report and forecasts to update the project construction schedule.
● Checks and monitors the subcontractor works as per compliance to the safety and quality of work. Also, tracks their productivity to comply with the given project schedule
● Prepares billing reports and forecasted catch-up plans if necessary.
● Directly reports, suggests, and assists the Project Engineer to ensure that the project will be done in a safe and economical manner.
Implementation of Civil Works for Davao City Bypass Construction Project Package I-1 (Project Cost: Php 3.24 Billion)
The project is funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). It includes the construction of three river bridges, two overpass bridges, two underpass bridges, numerous drainage system, a 16km road widening and concreting, a toll plaza, numerous maintenance buildings, numerous operation control and maintenance buildings, and the 2.24-kilometer mountain tunnel that is the longest mountain tunnel to date in the Philippines.
● Supervises the overall on-site works and is directly reporting to the Project Manager.
● Leads the daily toolbox meetings and HSE meetings to ensure the project is done in compliance with the construction safety guidelines.
● Acts as the Team Leader for a group of Quantity Engineers, Site Engineers, Surveyors, CAD Draftsman and Document Controllers to ensure the completion of all construction drawings.
● Supervises the preparation of quantity take-offs from construction plans and checks any variation from the original Bill of Quantities
● Monitors that all submittals of accomplishment reports and work requests are updated and secures that the quantity are correct.
● Responsible for the Project Cost Control and prepares the detailed unit price analysis of all work pay items as per Bill of Quantities (labor, materials, and equipment)
● Handles meetings with the client and consultants regarding the monthly reports, monthly projections, and monthly progress billings.
● Checks the work quality of any subcontractor works.
● Prepares and submits variation orders and constantly updates the construction project schedule. Prepares necessary documents if time extension is required
● Prepares Project Field Budget and constantly updates and monitors it.
● Responsible for all document works during Pre-Tendering Stage.
Construction of Camella Northpoint Mixed-Use Buildings
Camella Northpoint is a showcase of a mixed-use property, which includes five (5) mid-rise condominiums, a few business establishments and some community buildings. The 4 towers have a total of 898 units, namely the Manchester and Birmingham, both 5-storeys; Nottingham at 10-storeys and Liverpool at 15-storeys.
● Assists the Project Engineer on the overall on-site works
● Prepares the daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
● Secures the progress photographs before, during and after the commencement of work per pay item as attachment for the progress billings.
● Monitors and prepares the Materials Report and secures the quantity of the construction materials to be used.
● Assists on evaluating the subcontractor works if any.
● Prepares and updates the project construction schedule.
● Prepares Project Field Budget (cost of Labor, Materials, Equipment)
