Duties and Responsibilities
Received, issue and bin materials from stores including yard area.
Ensure that good received are in order and as per purchase order or
Muroor Road, Abu Dhabi specifications issued to the supplier.
Monitor the movement of incoming and outgoing materials.
Prepare the Goods Service Receipt Note (GSRN) for all incoming materials.
Determine an appropriate location and / or binning area within the store where materials can be stored.
• Maintain a computer record of all materials request and issues from system.
• Send a monthly Service Level and Nil Stock Report of all materials to the respective Senior Storekeeper or supervisor.
Provide details on stock status and related information to engineering department or division managers.
Reporting loss, damage and any such discrepancies to the supervising authorities.
Assisting in the labeling, tagging and packing of the materials.
Sorting of all materials and stacking them appropriately.
Arrange for transportation, forklift and manpower to deliver the materials to the end user area if needed.
Ensure efficient handling and prompt delivery of goods to end user.
Ensuring the timely dispatch of the materials to appropriate
destinations or store.
Conduct physical stock inventory verification.
Ensure the safety and security of materials in store.
Ensure the order and cleanliness in the store.
