Needs Assessment
• Conduct a communal water services needs assessment within the 251 most vulnerable localities in Lebanon as identified by the UN inter-agencies. A correlation between the most vulnerable localities and the water vulnerability was drawn through this assessment.
• Facilitate the needs identification among women led organizations and women’s groups
• Conduct a municipal based assessment of water and wastewater needs among 44 municipalities in the Bekaa region, specifically municipalities and union of municipalities around the Litani Basin.
• Identify at least six communal water services projects for design and implementation and serving the most vulnerable communities in Lebanon and alleviating the burden of the Syrian refugees’ influx.
Grants Administration and Management
• Take part in the launching of communal services grants Request for Applications (RFA) along with its relevant evaluation matrix
• Take part in the launching of the civic engagement RFA
• Participate in the selection and evaluation committee of grants proposals.
• Guide I-NGOs in the elaboration and refinement of their selected applications before the development of their respective contracts
• Develop customized reporting requirements and reporting templates for the selected I-NGOs in addition to Monitoring and Evaluation indicators in line with LWP’s overall reporting guidelines and indicators
• Supervise grants administered by LWP to I-NGOs and lead on the design, implementation, and monitoring of their respective activities
• Ensure compliance of the grantees with the grant contract, and USG rules and regulations for grant administration

Partnerships and Public Relations
Take part in the design and implementation of four multi-stakeholder meetings with municipalities and union of municipalities in the Bekaa Litani basin region
• Lead community outreach events among the local authorities, farmers, and I-NGOs in coordination with the water establishments

Marketing and CSR
 Take part of the marketing committee for the internal outreach to employees and external outreach to customers, and supervise the editing and design of the employee handbook, and internal advertisement procedures through emails, what’s app messages, and the social media networks.
 Collaborate with the Lebanese Red Cross for the organization’s Corporate and Social Responsibility program.

Training Program Officer at Expand Your Horizons / USAID funded Project

Main Responsibilities:
- Lead on Organizational Assessment for a portfolio of more than 50 Lebanese institutions working in 5 different sectors including universities and higher education institutions, where I have worked with 5 Lebanese universities, in addition to the Industry, Civil Society, Tourism, and Environment sector.
- Utilize either individually, or as a part of an analysis team several needs assessment tools including a general assessment tool, Participatory Institutional Assessment tool (PIA) - propriety of World Learning, and Human and Institutional Capacity Development model (HICD) USAID propriety.
- Analyze organizational capacities based on seven major competencies: Governance, Operations, Financial Management, Human Resources, External Relations and Marketing, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Service Delivery which is a technical competency that varies greatly from one institution to another according to its sector of expertise.
- Collect additional data regarding the organization through desk review of its current policies and procedures, surveys, interviews and focus groups.
- Develop an analysis report describing the status-quo of organizations and the gaps between current and desired state. Include as annex to the report an Organizational Development Plan which regroups optimization solutions and recommendations to serve as a road map of improvement for each organization.
- Assist in the development of performance management plans, and staff appraisal plans for Lebanese institutions.
- Follow up on the implementation and evaluation of the Organizational Development Plan according to the project’s objectives and timeline.
- Build intra and inter sectorial training plans, and develop adequate training objectives for national and international trainings.
- Develop training provider and subject matter expert databases and facilitate the evaluation of service providers.
- Implement capacity building interventions including training sessions, workshops, providing networking opportunities, and exchange visits and study tours for organizations.
- Provide follow-up support after each gap as necessary including coaching sessions and mentoring plans.
- Develop Key Performance Indicators to measure organizational performance improvement, and assist in the start-up of performance management systems within various Lebanese complex organizations.
- Develop contracts based on a pre-set template, and negotiate content and implications with the training service providers.
- Interview senior managers and executives that are participating in international capacity building events with EYH to ensure their compliance with the overall project mission.
- Arrange and facilitate events, including open houses, pre training orientations and debrief meetings, with organizations and their participants.
- Document the entire process the 5 stages of the training (needs analysis, training objective conceptions, service providers’ selection and procurement, implementation, and evaluation).
