Graphic Designer Job Responsibilities:

Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors.
Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment.
Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Responsibilities
Oversee all design projects, from conception to delivery
Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics
Review junior designers’ work to ensure high quality
Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software
Apply typography techniques
Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services
Increase user friendliness in digital products
Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects
Liaise with marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools
Support the creative director for all the materials in design and for the newly original concept design for each event for production that includes wall branding live feed for screens design and create all the media advertisements that includes brochure, signage, company profiles, logo concept story board, sketching, freehand drawing, sculpture.
Conceptualized and design all the marketing activities in the company from company profile to new logo, news paper ads, magazine ads, brochure, roll-ups, hanging banners, window display.
Conceptualized and create comprehensive advertisement studies for every projects in coordination to the entire creative team. Manage and delegate the creative team to come up with unique and out of the box concepts.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION The Bachelor of Fine Arts, major in Advertising Arts program provides a foundation of the design and the marketing aspects of advertising. Students are introduced to the aesthetic, design, and marketing principles which are essential to the conceptualization of an effective ad campaign and all its graphic requirements. Students learn, not only drawing and rendering skills, but also develop discipline for managing their tasks and an awareness of the values and ethics that should guide them in the workplace. The program includes elective courses that provide an overview of allied areas in design which anticipates specialization in illustration, fashion design, package design and photography. Design development projects are research-based; emphasis is placed on the communicative aspects of the discipline. Students are directed towards the creative utilization of the various media available in the pursuit of responsible advertising.
