Worked as a Mechanical Engineer in Alliance Industrial & Trading Company, specialized in steel fabrication of structural and piping works for pumping stations and oilfield. Fabrication of access doors, bollards, steel tanks, launcher & receiver.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Reviewing the contract drawings & specifications.
• Studying the scope of work, project specification and floating inquiries to the vendors for different materials and equipment.
• Preparing bill of quantities and floating quotation based on project specifications.
• To review & evaluate client submittals and shop drawings prior to submission to consultant and client according to required project standard.
• Overall control of workshop activities from the start to still completion.
• Ensure work is done at site as per shop drawing.
• Performing site visits and gathering information such as site accessibility, availability of utility services and rectifies the problems.
• Attending technical & commercial meeting with clients & consultants

Scope: - Fabrication of containerized water storage tanks and Launcher & Receiver For oilfield services.
Working as a Mechanical Engineer in Red Sea Services, which is a world market leader in the construction field for commercial & modular buildings for onshore & offshore purposes- accommodations, offices, recreation, gym, clinic and STP, WTP, Fuel Tanks & Generator Enclosures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Reviewing the tender documents, contract drawings & specifications.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings, materials, method statement & technical submission.
• Identifying all HVAC, Plumbing and fire fighting materials required for the project.
• Reviewing material submittal from suppliers for submission and consultant approval.
• Timely site inspection & ensuring the approved shop drawings are used for construction.
• Ensuring work is done as per method statement.
• Ensuring all the materials used at site are approved and material verification is done on each delivery.
• Reviewing sub-contractor shop drawing before submitting to main contractor/ consultant.
• Monitoring sub-contractors work to ensure quality and progress of work.
• Monitor the status of material and shop drawing log.
• Follow up and implication of client/ consultant review comments in timely manner.
• Quantity estimation & costing of incoming projects as per the client drawings & material specifications.
• Prepare the bill of quantity of Plumbing & HVAC works in project and placing material requisition for LPO’s to the purchasing dept.
• Follow up with purchasing dept. for timely delivery of materials, ensuring the requirement of the project.
• Interact with client/ consultant for gathering and understanding project requirements for the execution of work.
• Handle project documentation and attend project meetings.
• Provide technical support to the Drafting personnel for the submission of shop drawings.
• Monitor the execution of work as per the shop drawing & scope of work.

Worked as a Mechanical Engineer in Sunrise Engineering Manufacturing FZC, Sharjah, an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Company, specialized in manufacturing all types of pipe fittings for oilfield (Hammer Unions, Changeover Adapters, Blinds & Plugs, Cross Connector, Tee Connectors, Pup Joints, Air-O-Unions)
Duties & Responsibilities
• Documentation of ISO 9001:2008 Certification provided by DET NORSKE VERITAS(DNV)Management system, including process inspection report, daily production record, non-conformity record(NCR)for materials.
• Responsible for checking the quality of products in each stage of manufacturing up to delivery and check the programmes in CNC machine before they execute.
• To ensure that the calibration done for all instruments and maintain the record for calibration reports.
• To make mechanical shop drawings in Auto Cad prior to manufacturing products in machine shop.
• Overall production control, give pressure to production department to achieve the target.
• Detailed Planning of the works to be executed and purchase the required tools for the CNC machines.
• Inspection of finished goods to ensure that the dimensions within the tolerance limit.
• Checks the material certificates provided by the supplier and ensure that the material composition is same as standard steel grades (SAE 4140, SAE 4130, SAE 1030 or ASTM A105).
