Senior Mechanical Engineer
Head Of Mechanical Engineering Department at King Faisal Air Base

Responsibilities:
- Shop drawings for all mechanical services.
- Coordination drawings for MEP services.
- Mechanical design calculations.
- Review the calculations before submitted to consultant.
- Review material submittal.
- Coordination and solve coordination problems between
all systems.
- Coordinate with consultant and main contractor.
- Coordinate design meeting.
- Review material orders and contact with suppliers for orders.
- Preparation of time schedules for shop drawings, approval, delivery and installation/ ensure finishing the
project on time, milestones were important to indicate critical paths.
- Ensure all client requirements are reflected in the design / specification and quality according contract /
budget.
- Organize approvals for materials and workshop drawings.
- Participate in shop drawing workshops with client, architect, designer and construction company and if
required gave input on design/detailed/feasibility and costing.
- Preparation of logistic plans for all MEP equipment’s and follow up the consultant comments.

Responsibilities:
- Shop drawings, submittal, RFI, IR, MIR, ECR, etc..
- Cooling load, static calculations…
- Coordination and solve coordination problems between all systems at site.
- Follow up the site engineers for the work progress, materials & inspections.
- Follow up the QA/QC engineers for the work progress & the comments from
consultant.
- Coordinate with planning engineer for work progress.
- Follow up the testing & commissioning team and solve problems.
- Contact with consultant, Project management, Client & other contractors.
- Material orders, contact with suppliers.
- Daily, weekly & monthly reports for the work and balance works.
- Checking subcontractors invoices and controlling variations.

- Contact with consultant, Project management, main contractors, and other contractors.
