SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Engineering
•Preparation of Loop drawings, Specification sheets, Logic diagrams, Cabinet Layouts, JB Layouts, Cable Schedules etc as per design standards using design tools like PRODOK & Autocad.
•Preparation of Asbuilt documents, Detail Engineering & Basic Engineering.
•Control Valve parameter calculation, selection & design using Conval engineering software
Construction &Commissioning Activities
•Preparation of Document, Loop Checking, Functional test, trouble shooting, Startup & Line up of all instruments, Functional test of Fire & Gas instruments.
•Responsible for Powering up and Functional Test of System Cabinets such as: DCS and FGS.
•Preparation and Review of pre-commissioning / commissioning document, Check Sheet, Test Sheet etc.
•Supervision of Instrument installation, cable laying, cable glanding and termination, Junction Box installation, Calibration, Loop checking, Site Acceptance Test, Tray works etc.
•Functional test of all type of Fire and Gas instruments and calibration of instruments.
•Performing functional test of Fire & Gas all type Detectors Instruments.
•Troubleshooting of all type instruments all type valves and line up of the instruments.
•Understanding & Solving the Loop Diagrams, Logic diagram, Interlock Drawing, Cause & Effect, Instrument Hook-up and all Panel & Vendor Wiring Details.
•Preparation of punch list and Review of Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning dossiers.
•Exposure to BENTLY NEVADA 3500 Vibration monitoring systems & configuration of temperature monitoring rack (TMR) & machine monitoring rack (MMR).
•Installation, Calibration, Loopcheck, troubleshooting, Integration, commissioning & lineup of Teledyne Water Quality Analyser Panels.(PH, conductivity, ORP & Turbidity)
Maintenance Activities
•Calibration & Servicing of pressure gauges, Weight Indicators, Thermocouples, RTDs, Level gauges, I-mud Panels, 8-pen chart recorders & circular chart recorders.
•Calibration of Pneumatic, Electronic and SMART Transmitters, Radar type Level Transmitters, of different makes (Rosemount, Honeywell, Foxboro, Endress+Hauser, Yokogawa, Magnetrol etc.) for the measurement of Pressure, Differential Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Level and Density.
•Calibration and Configuration using different SMART Transmitter’s Communicators and Configurations: - HART & Fieldbus.
•Calibration, servicing of Control Valves of different types and makes, Installation, Calibration and Configuration of Positioners.
•Calibration and servicing of Damper actuator Valves, ON-OFF Valves, Self-Operated Valves, and Solenoid Operated Valves.
•Calibration, Loop check & functional check of Honeywell gas detectors(Toxic & Combustible)
