POC#1 : Online Forum

Description
Online forum is a site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages. They differ from chat rooms in that messages are often longer than one line of text. A discussion forum is hierarchical or tree-like in structure: a forum can contain a number of sub forums, each of which may have several topics. Within a forum's topic, each new discussion started is called a thread, and can be replied to by as many people as so wish. Forum admin will have rights to create new topics.
Responsibilities
• Configured the ATG environment
• Created the tables of topics and the corresponding posts.
• Repository form handlers used for querying and making changes to the underlying databases
POC#2 : Cognizant Tele+

Cognizant Tele+ is an ATG integrated solution which has been commited to provide the POC to the key internal stakeholders in Telecom industry. It provides best user experience to the customer by persisting order and profile details. This solution provides multiple payment options like billMe, Creditcard.

• ATG and CRS configuration through CIM
• POC on BCC customization (Setting up new workflows)
• Extention of Custom Catalog. (Added new properties like container to SKU).
• Hands on with build scripts using ant. Working experience on CSS and JS issues.

Project#2 : HGMS System for HeNB Gateway

Description
The HGSM is an Element Management System (EMS) developed on ConfD, a device configuration toolkit. It uses ConfD’s features include YANG data modeling, CDB an XML based database, SNMP and Web user interfaces. HeNB GW proprietary interface would be used towards HeNB GW applications for receiving statistics, alarms etc. HGSM is logically divided into functionality specific components (Fault, Configuration, Performance and Security Management). CDB read and write operations are done using ConfD provided Database Plug-in API.
It supports SNMP and HTTPS interfaces. SNMP interface will be used by NMS, OSS etc. to receive traps, fetch configuration details and statistics. HTTPS interface will be used for accessing Web user interface, where craft person would be able to work on the HeNB GW to perform various fault, configuration, and performance and security management functionalities.
Responsibilities
• Developing an HGSM application using the Tail-ConfD framework.
• Configuring the ConfD on Linux development boxes.
• Writing Java code to display the fault management data.
• Writing Java code to trigger the action callbacks for specific action points.
• Writing the YANG files containing the data models pertaining to HeNB Gateway Configuration and Fault Management
• Generating the MIB files from the respective Yang’s for SNMP support.
• Implementing log4j for logging the application flow.
• Writing the HTML pages targeted to IE8 and above.
• Writing the JUnit test cases and unit testing the application.

Achievements: Managing WIMAX based Sloka's BASE STATIONS, SUBSCRIBER STATIONS and customer services.
Description
Sloka making the low cost BASE STATIONS and SUBSCRIBER STATIONS for the WiMAX networks based on fixed wireless standard IEEE 802.16d. NMS does heartbeat monitoring of BS using simple network management protocol (SNMP) trap notifications, and it supports real time fault reporting. NMS is a comprehensive Network Management System fully compliant with the WiMAX IEEE 802.16d. It enables effective management of Sloka BASE STATIONS. NMS offers the full range of Fault management, Configuration, Authentication, Performance and Security (FCAPS) capabilities to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency, and minimize the cost of managing WiMAX networks.
AAA server does accountancy and billing for the customer service based on available SLABs. AAA has other capabilities like polling the SS and provides security for the service flows using the different encryption algorithms. Sloka AAA monitor the SUBSCRIBER STATIONS and provides reliable QoS (Quality of Service) for offering triple-play services of Voice, Data, and Video to the customer. The communication between the AAA and the SS accomplished by the AAA server. AAA server is responsible for service assurance to the customer using the Classifiers.

Project #4 : BS and SS MANAGER
Environment : CGI, awk, sed, sqlite and JavaScript.
Description:
The BS Manager is a module that runs on the BS for the purpose of configuration, maintenance, upgrade, debugging and measurement. All BS parameters can be configured. Where NMS is not deployed, BS Manager provides the alternative to manage the BS.
BS manager comes with a user front-end which is web-based and been designed to be as lean as possible. It uses the same processing resources as the core BS software. It will be obvious that the core BS software gets priority over the BS Manager. Nonetheless, the manager performs well with low latency and response times even when the BS operating at full capacity.
