Implement and manage multiple telecom automation projects end to end, to
enhance existing manual business stream workflows, improve customer
experience and processes efficiency.
➢ Discuss, assess and consolidate automation business requirements, use cases
from various telecom domain owners in their journey towards automation.
➢ Translate the business requirements provided by domain owners in to High
Level Architecture diagrams and descriptive BRD’s. Additionally, prepare end
user design templates, OLA/validation definitions and other supporting
documents. Finally submit the same to software factory team for development.
➢ Proceed with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) of different automation modules
developed with all involved stakeholders.
➢ Provide orientation and prepare user guidance manuals for new and existing
end users for newly deployed automation processes.
Coordination with planning team on network design, equipment/node
specifications for successful implementation of Transmission, Internet and
Business Projects.
➢ Initiate scheduling, planning and supervision of installation works with proper
communication of issues or discrepancies and proper documentation of entire
process.
➢ Responsible to track project scope changes during implementation and
produce updated site-based schedule as agreed with engineering and
suppliers.
➢ Review project proposals and deliverables with staff, related departments that
will be involved to determine procedures for accomplishing project. To monitor
project requirements and allotment of resources to various phases of project.
➢ Maintain healthy relations with staffs, telecom suppliers, subcontractors and
outsourced companies to assure timely and efficient completions of projects.
➢ To actively participate in issue/risk management process, by contributing to the
identification and prioritization of existing and potential issues and risks, and
helping to develop strategies and control to mitigate these.
➢ Initiate and participate in various project kick-off meetings/conferences with
project stakeholders to bring out the best results from allocated projects with
in specified time frame.
➢ Develop, review project status and progress reports regularly for top
management on timely basis and to assist project manager in developing
comprehensive workflow process for project.
➢ Ensure all assigned projects are aligned with organizational standards and to
inspect quality of implementation on completion.
Operation and Maintenance of Layer II CISCO switches.
➢ Handled operations of over 200 x L2 CISCO switches in NE region for a period
of 2 years.
➢ Ensure all projects related tasks and activities are carried out in accordance with
specifications, rules, regulations and other contractual agreements with due
regards to safety, quality, and maintainability.
➢ Configuration of switches for IPNGDLC, IPRAPTOR, IPMALC, WiMAX and UMTS
requirements.
➢ Testing links and connectivity with MC, Radio, IS and WiMAX sections.
➢ Installation of Transmission, Core and Business telecom equipment’s, ODF, EDF,
APC cabinets.
➢ Optical fiber laying, testing, labeling and capacity expansion in telecom node
and testing with operations.
➢ Snag clearance of telecom node before handover to operation team.
➢ Logistics coordination and SIV creation, release follow-up for equipment
transfer to Etisalat sites.
➢ Released/Delivered hardware discrepancy clearance and verification with
supply chain, HO-planner.
➢ Advising on logistics and project issues associated with SIV, MRA, GRN, MRN,
PAC, TAC and FAC
➢ Managing and maintaining Fixed Asset records, FA transfer, write-offs and
various telecom test equipment.
