Lead the integration of HR systems during the merger and acquisition of Iraqna (Orascom Iraq operation) by Zain Group to guarantee smooth transition of the workforce.
Developed and implemented a salary scale, pay normalization system and total rewards system to ensure fairness of pay based on job grades and mitigated the risk of key staff turnover of the merger. It resulted in 100% retention of the merged company key personnel and eliminated negative impact on the business.
Spearheaded and designed a Market Based Pay Program for setting compensation and benefits structure that integrates the salary system with job titles, job descriptions, job grades and pay allocations; The model was adopted by Zain corporate group and all of Zain operational entities throughout the Middle East.
Collaborated with Zain-Iraq sales/marketing executive management on the development and implementation of a “Sales Incentive Plan” that is linked and aligned with Zain’s corporate best practices. The plan resulted in 10% increase in sales for a total revenue increase of 50 million USD within 6 months.
Implemented employee stock options plan (ESOP) to motivate employees and generate loyalty from all employees, as they are more invested in the company and its results.
