Roles & Responsibilities :

•Audit of DCN plan for network manageability(Router, GNE count, GNE load sharing report and lapd configurations)
•Troubleshooting of faults relates to OSI (NSAP) and IP DCN.
•Audit of Synchronisation in networks.
•Hands on experience on ASON technology implemented in TTSL (Ason config, protection schemes, GMRE functionality)
•Knowledge of CLI commands in unix and gmre (linux platform)
•Take Daily network backups.
•Coordinated and supported NM/RM migration activity to release 8.1 PL2 from release 7.4 to generate ISN report

Roles & Responsibilities
•Fundamental task required in the maintenance of over 6000 Network Elements by Nortel Networks and UTStarcom.
•Involved in working DIGITAL LOOP CARRIER (DLC- SDH) on SDH STM-1. An Utstarcom U.S.A based technology that provides the complete solution for voice and data services. It supports multiple interfaces, i.e. L3VPN, IPADSL, POTS, ISDN (BRI&PRI), Leased lines etc.
•Involved in the Operational Acceptance testing of Utstar's DLC (AN8K) also attended large no. of planned events regarding software up gradation, various card insertion, new service provisioning, integration & bypassing of new nodes in the network etc.
•Troubleshooting and fault rectification of the customer complaint.
•Ability to troubleshoot faults across different transport element networks.
•Handling traffic outage of SDH equipment at Network Operation Center in co-ordination with field engineer.
•All over India technical support for resolution of Critical/ Major Faults & escalated faults from Field, O&M, EWC & SOMG, ITMC group and Customer & making a Fault ticket on clarity (OSS-Fault management System) .
•Finding root cause analysis of potential and traffic outage related problems
•Escalate all the faults which cannot be diagnosed over the duration of 2Hrs to TAC (Technical Assistance Centre) team within NNOC & subsequently to the vendor if required.

•Other Equiment from Fujitsu, Cisco 15454, Nortel (DX, OC3/OC12/OC48), Tejas.
•Access Equipment : DLC UTSTARCOM and IPDSLAM.
Operations and Support Tools:
•Temip, Alert Navigator for Alarm monitoring
•Clarity, Remedy, OPS console and HPSM for incident, problem and change management.
•testing tools like NETANALYST, CENTEST, REACT, BERT Meter
•Ckt reading tools (DLR) like CIRCUIT VISION, POPS WARP, REMEDY, GRANITE, NETCRACKER, NEXTGEN, METASOLV.
