A - EXTERNAL AUDITS:

Work Profile
• Supervise annual and interim audit assignments of wide range of clients which include Manufacturing Companies, Event Management Companies, Trading Companies, Retailers, Contracting Companies, Auto Parts Companies, etc.

• Determine whether client’s set of financial statements, comprising Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Changes in Equity, Statement of Changes in Cash Flow, and relevant notes to accounts reflect a true and fair view in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

• Responsibilities, forming part of external audit assignments, include:
o Audit Plan Meeting with the client to obtain an overview of the performance and key issues during the year,
o Physical Verification of inventory and fixed assets,
o Analytical Review of the client’s financial statements to identify high-risk areas.
o Field work wherein audit techniques such as sampling and scoping are used to obtain assurance over the financial data of the client.
o Analyze management reports such as aging report of receivables and payables
o Obtain third party confirmation and reconciliations from Debtors, Creditors, Banks and Related Parties to obtain added assurance on financial statements.
o Prepare draft audit report with audit opinion and submit to the audit partner concerned
o Report to group auditors, if applicable.

• Abu Dhabi Film Commission - Wide experience in audit of Statement of Expenditure of Hollywood and Bollywood cinematic productions shot in Abu Dhabi pursuant to a 30% rebate scheme launched by the Abu Dhabi Government.
