Performing Site supervision, Dealing with contractors and subcontractors in accordance with client requirements. Verifying Variation orders with client requirements and recording cost savings. Managing site safety and quality according to standards and specifications. Assisting Quantity surveyor for preparing BOQ.
Involved extensively in infrastructure work of portfolio- Aerospace supply chain facilities involving total 8 phase for Dubai south. Expert Supervision ability in all Mechanical work related to construction HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing/ drainage and Infrastructure -External underground services coordination. Part of successful for fast track fit out projects where main project where industrial shell and core projects for Reputed Client like Lufthansa, AMAZON, GE etc.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor all assigned projects.
• Reviewing engineering deliverables; initiate appropriate corrective actions throughout the project life-cycle such as Shop Drawings of all Mechanical sub division-Firefighting, Plumbing and drainage, HVAC and infrastructure -external site service coordination.
• Reviewing Material Submittals as per approved Design and Project Specifications.
• Reviewing Pre Qualifications to appoint Subcontractors.
• Replying for RFIs which are raised from contractors.
• Reviewing Method Statements for all works and testing and commissioning
• Timely performing site Inspections of complete Mechanical works-, HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing and infrastructure works in Whole Project /Portfolio and maintaining logs.
• Issuing Non Conformance Reports (NCRs), Site Instructions, Site Observations to Contractors
• Issuing Official Engineer's Instructions by considering Project Variations and Engineering Values.
• Attending Progress Meetings, Technical Meeting and commercial Meetings
• Reviewing, evaluating the Work percentage and certifying interim payments for contractors
• Analysis and assessment for Cost savings in various aspects
• Responsible for security, health and safety (HSE). The main source of technical advice and quality control for everyone working on site by conducting regular Safety Inspections
• Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency.
• Prepare proposal documents and presentations. Maintain detailed documentation of all site engineering activities.
• Liaise with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
• Monitor project progress, compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Direct engineering activities; assign tasks, provide training and support.
• Inspecting and Maintain quality control in every area (budget, scheduling, planning, personnel performance, team dynamics).
• Communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants in order to provide needed assistance and technical support.
• Ensure Strict Adherence to Advanced Parts Solutions process
• Ensure strict adherence to WEIR Quality & Technical Standards for all drawing/models
• Generate Sketches from existing components/ customer supplied samples.
• Creation of AutoCAD 2D drawing, Solid Works 3D models to allow precision reworks of rotating equipment components of Non-WEIR parts to enable manufacturing
• Work to priorities as determined by production schedule based on customer demand
• Prepare & update status report for drawing related activities.
• Carry out all design related activities and preparation of manufacturing drawing for pressure controlling equipments like valves, Adapter/Drilling spools, Crossovers, Well head Equipments based on API Specifications API 6A, API 5CT, API 16A etc.
• WELD preparation & Service drawings for BOPs excluding the OEM Supplied Designs.
• Work to lean principles and target continuous improvement, JIS, KANBAN (Pull System)
Lean Team Member and Internal Auditor for LEAN
Extensive involvement in HVAC, Fire fighting and plumbing site activities.Supervising MEP Project work & progress to meet the finishing milestone from delayed baseline. Assisting and guiding client to save cost and time to make their dream home a reality. Attending frequent meetings with architect so as to clarify site issues and coordinate contractor, site engineers and supervisors. Assisting for achieving authority approvals for Building completion &obtaining power from KSEB.

Got good exposure in most of all mechanical, conventional and Non-conventional machining process as "Produce while learning and Learn while producing " is one of the guiding principle of the NTTF. I was the 5S student coordinator for the total Institute and Was member of a QC team which won Best QC team of the total NTTF institute for coming with a innovative machining fixture which reduce the machining setting time drastically.
