Plans and implements other health activities to include health education and preventive programs as well.
>Specific duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for taking vital signs, administering medication, developing patient care plans, assessing patient, etc.
Identifying the unique problems of each patient and concern of each individual.
Familiarizes with their facilities, policies, procedures and protocols.
Responds timely to emergency situations and assures open communication to patient and their families and other emergency medical professionals.
Work directly under physicians order, assisting the doctors in providing the best possible medical service to patients.
Responsible for documentation of treatment of treatment plan and nursing care.
Provides IV insertion, cleaning and bandaging wounds, administering medications or injections and other nursing procedures.
Assist in moving patients, maintains proper body alignment and utilizing good body mechanics.
Complies facilities safety regulations regarding infection control, hazardous material, and all other policies, protocols and procedures that protects the patients, staff and community.
Job Summary:

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for taking vital signs, administering injections and medication, developing patient care plans, assessing patients, etc.
2. Observe the facility’s policies, procedures and protocols.
3. Responds timely to emergency situations and team up with other medical professionals and assures open communication to patients and their families.
4. Responsible for documentation of treatment plan and nursing actions.
5. Functions as patient’s advocate by protecting them from incompetent, unethical, or illegal practices during the hospitalization period.
6. Sees to it that all medical instruments are in good condition.
7. Communicates and acts as liaison between the patient and the physician.
