- Play an active role in transformation and digitization of current processes and ensure process discipline across the organization.
Project and finance controller covering Pakistan and Gulf Area - UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait - reporting to Gulf & Pakistan CFO with dotted line to Gulf and Pakistan execution finance manager.
- Ensure compliance with financial governance as per corporate guidelines (project reviews, risk/opportunity analysis...)
- Support and challenge tender & execution teams throughout the life cycle of the project by monitoring key project finance performance (P&L, cash curve, margin evolution...)
- Actively monitor projects portfolio and provide visibility to leadership team on projects financial performance (margin slippage, cash performance...). Propose and ensure prompt corrective action plan implementation
- Act as Business partner for Tender Managers, support, challenge and validate the financial aspects/assumptions of bids with special focus on cost accuracy and winning orders.
- Participate and animate project reviews with Project Manager and CPO
- Lead monthly best estimates and quarterly rolling forecasts to reflect the updated business scenarios and flag any risks in a timely manner along with recommending actions to mitigate the risk versus target.
- Responsible for preparing monthly balance scorecard and key metrics analysis (orders, backlog, revenue, projects database, margin variation, cash situation (c-r, overdue, unbilled and excess billing, utilization and absorption rate. DVC and SFC analysis, P&L....)
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of Financial and non-financial KPIs of the Execution Center / Hub and use outputs to drive financial performance with Project Managers and leadership team
- Support in QBR preparation - Conduct monthly projects flow closing-
- Liaise with internal, external and ISO auditors.
- Take active part of Project Controller community by acting as Project Controlling coach to peers and sharing lessons learnt and best practices.
- Validate new ERP (SAP bPS) addresses all business needs and participate/lead business transformations and deploy processes required from project controlling perspective

- Receive and issue customer credit notes after checking the request forms compliance with the entity and group rules.
- Detect and analyze price/quantity discrepancies in goods receipt notes before posting IR in accounting (3-ways matching PO/GR/IR)
- Record invoice receipts and related accruals transactions.
- Coordinate with logistic departments to ensure accurate and efficient monthly logistic flow closing.
- Submit RECIG declaration and and communicate monthly updated statement with other IC partners.
- Assist in HFM declarations by submitting end of month major ICPMR reports such as sales &purchases, trade receivables & payable, stock, trade and other operating creditors, management fees…
- Detect and solve discrepancies found immediately to ensure proper monthly reporting.

- Support forecasting activities by preparing monthly inter group and outside group payment forecasts
- Compare actual figures to cash flow forecasts and analyze variances.
- Work on implementing new procedures to minimize the gap between the finance/ accounting and logistic department using FI-CO and MM SAP modules knowledge.

- Control all fixed assets purchases: booking assets purchase and disposal, running monthly SAP depreciation, maintaining fixed assets detailed recap file, reconciling general ledger accounts and posting adjustments whenever needed.
