Maintain the corporate credit policy
Recommend changes in the credit policy to senior management
Manage customer credit files
Monitor the credit granting and updating process
Accept or reject the credit recommendations
Personally investigate the largest customer credit applications
Personally visit the largest customers to establish relations
Monitor periodic credit reviews
Implement the application of late fees
Ensure timely collection of receivables and maintain a healthy cash flow while precluding bad debt losses
Collects overdue payments in a timely manner
Regularly reviews payment histories and directs staff in how to most efficiently collect on overdue accounts
Organize regular credit meetings with all concerned departments to review the statuses of overdue accounts and keep them informed of progress as well as persistent challenges
Oversees the processing and verification of credit applications
Verifies the accuracy of credit card payments
Reconciles debtor accounts before month-end closing
Ensures that AR aging report is kept to minimum aged balances
Prepares and sends invoices in a timely manner
Follow up, collection and allocation of payments
Update aging of accounts regularly
Process credit applications efficiently
Ensures availability of back up of invoices for future reference
Communicating with customers via phone, email or personally
Ensure that all arriving guests are registered to the Property Management System
Allocating the rooms for all arriving guests & make sure each are given priority according to preference
Responsible of Assigning & Delegating various tasks to staff
Ensure that guests balance are not over the credit limit and follow up for those with high balance
Acting Night Manager in his absence
