• Project and design Solar PV engineer. Head project engineer on DEWA Shams initiative pilot project. Head project engineer for Solar PV projects in TECOM and Trakhees. Project Engineer and manager for four Solar PV installation projects within Dubai (three of which are fully commissioned and operational). Lead engineer on Solar PV peer review exercise (275kWp in Mozambique). Owners Representative for 1MWp in Dubai Design District). DEWA Certified Solar PV engineer; good experience with Solar NOC, Design Approval and final inspection applications.
• Electrical project and design work in energy engineering. Smart Meter system design and commissioning, TCL calculations, LED lighting level calculations.
• Electrical design works associated with HVAC system modification.
• Tasks associated with above works, liaisons with various authorities for NOC, composing project schedules, method statements, project management.
Involved in Electrical and Mechanical testing of industrial microwaves. Worked on electrical circuits ranging from 24V to 400V, fault detection and repairs. Conducted microwave function and leakage testing on numerous machines.
Commissioning of Industrial Microwave systems.
Performed Transmission (400kV), Distribution (132kV and 66kV) and Reticulation (11-33kV) load studies on the Urban and Rural electrical networks.
Responsible for compiling fault incident reports on numerous fault events.
Carried out network optimization studies to determine the need for upgrade on the electrical network, whether additional load can be added to the network and the need for Voltage Regulators on the network or identifying constrained networks (over loading or under voltage).
