Chemetil is a chemical company.
In Chemetil I'm in charge of the Environmental department (which includes water treatment services), work in the laboratory and manage the operations, which include accounting, logistics, purchases, etc.
I worked as an intern in order to do my Master's degree Thesis, which was entitled "Evaluation of the Corporate Sustainability in IEP. The work developed lead to the creation of an evaluation tool with 50 sustainability categories tailored to evaluate the Sustainability index of a company.
Started in this company as Counselor, in charge of more than 300 young scientists from over 50 countries.
Then I was Program Liaison and was responsible for managing the oficial forum program and coordination of a team of 8 staff members, while accumulating with the previous job,
Then I was promoted to House host, where I was responsible for the entire staff (16 people from 10 different countries) and for over 350 young scientists from over 50 countries.
I was a lecturer in a project called "Gestos Simples" ("Simple Actions") sponsored by ERSE (the Portuguese Regulatory Comission for Energy Services) and managed by DECO (Consumer Defence Association).
In this project I travelled all over the country teaching energy efficiency to over 2000 students and adults. Also appeared in television shows and several public exhibitions.
Minor in Projecting Environmental Instalations 5 year course with classes in all engineering departments. The most versatile engineering course available in Portugal.
International Exchange Program - Erasmus
Course regarding Health Hygiene and Security and another one regarding Quality Management. Both were taught in the same institute.
