• Daily auditing of incoming inbound and outbound bill of entries from previous clearance instruction given to the clearing agents such as DHL, FedEx, and others for accuracy checking the discrepancies and escalate issues immediately to avoid future customs problems. Notify clearing agents for any BOE amendments due to error processing
• Providing clearance instruction based on the HS code list of Panaonic to agents through email, sending notification to a particular clearing agent by providing the details of the Air Waybill to further process the bill of entry accordingly.
• Sending notifications to authorized and exclusive clearing agents for on time clearance of shipment
• Monitoring pre-alert shipments for on time receiving of incoming shipments to avoid any delays
• Daily auditing of outbound Commercial Invoice inorder to check the accuracy of all the details mentioned on it and by verifying HS-Codes and all the details in ECCN via oracle.
• Keeping files up-to date both soft and hard copies for archiving for future references.
• Escalate unresolved issues to other departments or agents inorder to maintain in-tack and accurate department records
Receives shipment and ensure goods received are in proper condition and in correct quantity ordered
Passing of Bill of Entry in E-Mirsal 2 accurately based on the documents provided by the customers
DP World payment for containers in E-Mirsal 2 and for the E-Gate pass
Efficient and accurate handling of e-Mirsal 2 declaration for Import and Export shipments
Arrange Ersalia/Invoice, packing list, exit/entry Certificate, and Gate Pass in for re-export.
Identify items or goods that are subject for customs inspection before sending out the shipment to ensure no delays and penalties along the way
Handling governmental paper work related tasks required for clearance of shipments and warehouse, municipality clearance
Regularly follow up arrival notice of containers from the customer to ensure on-time pick of goods or items in port and by avoiding any penalties that may occur
Maintaining deposit/accounts for CDR and Standing Guarantee within the stipulated time frame and avoid any fines /penalties
Records all Manifests in soft and hard copies to ensure accuracies of all documents for future use and verification purposes
Review and process the different type of customs forms required for re-export and stamping procedures
Solving other work issues such as container over weight, customs penalties and the like.
