Reporting to the Technical / Operation / Project Managers Procurement of all technical materials and awarding contracts of both stock and non-stock materials. Preparation of purchase intends when stock reaches ROL. Tendering, evaluation of bids, placement orders, fixing the forwarders and follow up with the logistics Dept.
Exposure to all industrial products like Engine Spare Parts, Fuel Injection parts, Hoses & Couplings, Chemicals & Petroleum products, Elec. & Pneumatic tools, Hand tools, Cutting tools, Measuring Instruments, Structural steel, Fasteners, Pipes and Pipe fittings, Valves, Bearings, Elec. Equipments, Sealing, packing and Jointing materials & Welding Equipments and consumables. Ropes and hawsers, Anchors chains and shackles, Hatch cover cleats, Fenders, Wire ropes and slings, Paints and painting equipments, Safety Equipments and Nautical & Navigational Equipments. Catering Equipments, Clothing. Cleaning Materials, Stationery, Medical and Surgical Equipments, and Hardware materials.
Sourcing of materials from Local, Far East, Europe & US.
Coordinating with shipyards for dry-docking and afloat repair of ships
Responsible for procurement, construction and maintenance of Big Fleet of Ships, Boats, Power generation equipments, Geophysical Equipments, Light Vehicles, Heavy vehicles, Pumps, Motors, Hydraulic equipments, power packs & drilling equipments, General Engineering consumables, structural steel, safety gears, chemicals, wire ropes, etc
Responsible for all the purchases of local maintenance platform and all the projects in Middle East, Africa and part of Europe and corporate needs from local market.
Made long term contracts with suppliers to achieve cost reduction and timely delivery
•Reporting to the Technical & General Manger
•Tracking material requests from the vessels and the project sites through email, fax telephone and follow up with suppliers for the quotations and urgent delivers in the site and the vessels

• Identifying, Sourcing, negotiating and Procuring materials, machineries, hardware, spare parts, hardware materials, hand tools & power tools.
• Vendor development and vendor evaluation.
• Introducing cost reduction methods
• Thorough knowledge of local market of hardware, spare parts of machineries, engines & ship spares.
• Sending inquires to suppliers for quotations and to check the availability.
• Verifying purchase specifications against quotations
• Preparing purchase orders, contracts, agreements, etc
