• Spearheading all aspects of IT Operations including Hardware (Server & Network) Management, Applications Management, Software Versions / Patches Management, Service Level Management, Compliance (Systems Operations), Back-up Management & Contingency Planning, IT Asset Management and Datacenter Set-up
• Leading the Office365 migration Roll out in the assigned AOR
• Managing entire ERP project implementation with a view to achieve business objectives and ensure optimum utilization of available resources
• Understanding business processes, studying and analysing workflow to design solutions (As-Is, To-Be and Solutioning/Freezing); preparing requirement & testing documents and conducting GAP analysis
• Contributing to strategies and execution roadmaps (for purchases, strict budget controls, IT infrastructure, security, crisis / disaster & business continuity plans, asset management, incident management, audits, compliance & regulations, and vendor management)
• Identifying IT project requirements, project scope of work and project plans including cost, schedule, risk, benefits for the new business units and issues related to change management
• Acting as a business and IT strategist, functional leader, technology advocate and change agent
• Managing and maintaining relationships with Vendors and other third party suppliers, Project team, Management team and implement IT policies, procedures, CAPEX, verify the SLA’s, AMC’s etc.
• Monitoring and reviewing the IT related issues through IT Servicedesk (GLPI) and ensures that the best industry practices and standard procedures are followed
• Identifying the information and resource requirements for the key stages of initial enquiry, meeting user’s requirement, preparing proposals, vendor evaluation and supplier selection
• Ensuring that the PC’s protected with Antivirus and Server’s are with proper backup etc.
• Interfacing with Telecom bodies such as Omantel, Ooredoo for link management

• Implementing network security standards PCI-DSS and COBIT at regional level as established by the IT Director
• Delivering constant support for installation & administration of various range of servers, applications, desktops, laptops & peripherals, database, and security
• Steering IT staff by recruiting, training & coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance

• Providing 24x7 rotational on-call support, including escalation driving Root Cause Analysis (RCA), preventative action follow-through, and participation in weekly operations reviews
• Delivering technical support & responding to outages during off-hour within establishing Service Level Agreements
• Ensuring that IT systems, applications, and communication equipment within the organisation are managed and maintained in accordance with documented processes, procedures, guidelines, & instructions
• Monitoring:
o Warranty/AMC details to notify necessary contract renewals, service provider, contract review & re-negotiation, and contract performance
o Project budgets; tracking expenses and project budget; managing project related changes; identifying issues & risks and developing contingency plans
• Building a technically strong & highly motivated workforce; monitoring resource utilization and productivity; developing learning & development programs and driving knowledge management initiatives
