Managing the entire functioning of library includes;
• Acquisition
• Processing of books & reference materials (based on LC Classification & Cataloging as per AACR-2) using ITS biblio and Horizon packages
• Maintaining periodical section
• Circulation
• Providing support services to users by online subscriptions to external resources such as Zawya, MEED, etc.
• Preparation of Library Budget
Functions as an Analyst includes
• Extract, analyze and summarize reports/articles from different sources for research purpose and Contribute information reviews or articles to weekly economic publications and biweekly reports.
• Prepare spreadsheets/tables and Provide information or data on SWF, stocks and flows of IPO activities and project update on GCC using sources like sovereign Wealth fund, Zawya & MEED.
• Analysis using STATA 12 with data on;
• Economic indicators such as growth, Inflation, debt, etc. us ing sources EIU, IMF, World Bank, etc..
• Market performances (sukuk, stock market, IPO, etc..)
• Commodity market fluctuations
Computer Knowledge: MS Word, Excel, Power Point & Stata (statistical software)
Library Packages Known: VTLS, Virtua, ITS Biblio & Horizon
Handling KISR reports
• Classification & Cataloging of KISR Reports (based on LC Classification & Cataloging as per AACR-2) using VTLS and Virtua tools
• Handling DMS system of scanning KISR reports
