Conduct repairs and troubleshooting of production equipment to avoid / minimize production downtime.
•Performs routine scheduled (and unscheduled) maintenance on all production equipment, including through-hole, surface mount placement equipment and wave soldering equipment, including daily cleaning tasks
•Maintains all capital equipment used in populating and assembling printed circuit boards utilizing through-hole and surface to mount technologies (SMT). Interprets, modifies and programs sequence for the following equipment
•Performed machine start-up.
•Conducts Engineering experiments, debug, and process flow evaluation to be approved by the customer to the start of normal production.
•Monitors and reviews process yields, generates Engineering Change Notices (ECN) to improve product quality productivity. Initiates capital appropriations request including justifications for all equipment upgrades.
•Monitors and maintain data base of (OEE) Overall Effective Efficiency.
•Works closely with manufacturing engineering to: provide cost and time saving ideas; design tooling to improve the manufacturing process; solve floor production problems; specify and order stencils, board tooling component feeders, etc.
•Maintains spare parts inventory for all production equipment.
•Performed manual soldering and disordering of component parts.
•Counsels and trains less experienced process technicians and trains production personnel in operating SMT and through-hole production equipment.
•Handling (COT Group) Change overtime SMT improvement.
•Conduct and performed machine preventive maintenance monthly and weekly schedule.
•Knowledge in electrical installation if needed.
•Can operate all (SMT) machines.
•Can operate CNC bungard machine.
