1. Ensure all activities undertaken within laboratories are conducted following ISO standards and Company policies and procedures.
2. Performs routine analysis for PE and PP samples, takes the appropriate safety measures, required documentation (LIMS, ISO 17025) and housekeeping.
3. Review results for routine, non-routine, and special samples in the LIMS and ensure results match with raw data.
4. Receives pilot plant samples and performs analysis following established Test Methods, SOPs and shift supervisor directions.
5. Review Quality Certificates for all products and shipments including raw materials and ensure the results are traceable.
6. Calibrate and verify laboratory equipment according to maintenance plan/ schedule and prepare laboratory chemical reagents and standard solutions with standardization.
7. Conducts and review analysis for Water samples. Records results in the designated logbooks and ensure results are traceable.
8. Develop and check Laboratory SOP, Work Instructions, Test Methods and guidelines. Follow up on American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) tracking and prepare standard update forms.
9. Comply with all the Test Methods/SOP, Guidelines, Written and Verbal instructions. Recommends changes to lab practices and procedures for the betterment and speedy completion of work.
10. Checks and inspects the operation parameters to ensure their compliance with the instructions.
11. Deliver all chemicals, spares, consumables, cylinders and other materials from the warehouse to the Lab. Provides LIMS labels, hazard labels before transferring materials in the designated storage area.
12. Reports problem and primary diagnosis to shift supervisor and relevant laboratory staff.
13. Monitors gases consumption through frequent pressure checking. Replaces empty cylinders and perform ordering for new cylinders.
14. Prepares chemical solutions and reagents for all analysis as per Test methods including labelling.
15. Transfer laboratory waste (chemicals, finished samples, obsolete equipment) from the lab to the waste collection area outside the lab.
16. Runs SPC control samples on a daily basis as scheduled.
17. Ensures the validity and calibration of laboratory equipment before analysis.
18. Conduct calibration and verification of Laboratory equipment as part of the maintenance program.
19. Supports the shift supervisor and other lab staff in the planning and organizing of efficient QC services (e.g. drafting of new or revised procedures, maintaining consumables, etc.)

21. Ensure control charts are updated, nonconformities are closed out, laboratory environmental conditions are monitored, and new equipment is validated.
