1. Scope
The scope of the Accounting Analyst includes the following areas: payroll and general ledger accounting.
2. Principal Duties
Payroll Accounting
• Preparation of monthly adjustments in payroll (per employee)
• Preparation of final pay calculation/claims for terminated employees
• Executing the payroll processing in SAP, preparation of approved payroll files to be transferred to the bank online, answering employee queries regarding the computation of salary components, updating of employee profiles in SAP (except contract and work-related matters).
• Team member in implementing the computerized employee savings plan and other employee benefits.
• Co-author of the company’s payroll procedure manual.
• Reviews the existing payroll procedure manual and suggests amendments, revisions and additions of new policies and controls necessary for its improvement.
General Ledger Accounting
• Preparation of the monthly schedules for the accrual of employee termination benefits, accrual and amortization schedules of employee bonuses and other payments related to employee contract.
• Analyzes and reconciles the social insurance report on a monthly and year-end basis.
• Prepares report for external/internal auditor or management use.
Principal Duties
• Implement Oracle ERP System.
• Presentation to the client what Oracle System can provide and how it will work with the client’s business
• Knowing, understanding, and documenting the nature and business processes of the client
• Setting up the system, testing the system, verification/testing the system by the client’s users and acceptance before finally handling the system over to the client.
