Overseeing shipment loading and unloading, handling day-to-day operations for
the warehouse and creating shipment schedules
• Monitoring inventory levels using software programs and initiating transportation or
shipments when inventory levels become too low or high
• Enforcing facility security and employee safety measures to ensure that the
warehouse adheres to the government's safety standard
• Examining related materials and goods to identify defects and check the quantity
• Overseeing teams and staff, assigning staff schedules, organising employee
training and developing teamwork initiatives
• Communicating with clients, suppliers and vendors by email or phone to
coordinate equipment needs and schedule shipments
Coordinate the shipment process from initiation to delivery, ensuring all necessary
documentation, permits, and clearances are obtained.

Liaise with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, and other transportation providers to
secure bookings, negotiate rates, and track shipments.

Ensure compliance with customs regulations and requirements for both imports
and exports, including proper documentation and timely submission.

Prepare, review, and process shipping documents such as bills of lading,
commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.

Oversee the handling, packing, and labeling of cargo to ensure safe and secure
transportation, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
•
Monitor inventory levels, warehouse storage, and distribution activities to optimize
space utilization and minimize delays.
•
Collaborate with other departments, including sales, finance, and logistics, to
ensure alignment of goals and effective communication throughout the
organization.
