PROCESS ENGINEER (APRIL 2009 - PRESENT)
➢ Adhere to safety requirements in relevant SSWs when relieving technical operators at the assigned production area. Ensure operators and contractors working at the same area also comply in the safety requirements. Raise near misses and close the corrective actions. Support operator and contractors in closing near misses.
➢ Support technical operators and operators in the shift for any electrical or mechanical issues across the value stream. Align with Maintenance team and Production Shift Team Leader for any corrective/preventive action to the issues and escalate if the issues are not solved.
➢ Relieve technical operators as part of the critical manning during breaks.
➢ Receive market plan and pull signals and schedule the value stream production output and manpower ordering. Ensure the Heijunka board is updated and well maintained. Monitor and confirm adherence to schedule (ATS) . Escalate to Production Team Leader any deviation of volumes, productivity and ATS. Co-ordinate and reschedule changes to the production plans, manpower and materials ordering.
➢ Conduct back flushing, close purchase order and clear system error. Conduct weekly inventory stocktaking.
➢ Represent the value stream in morning meeting and in trial meeting for new materials with the planner.
➢ Support Technical Trainer in coordinating and conducting training to technical operators and operators.
➢ Support new technical operators and operators as an assigned mentor.
➢ Participate in maintenance activities that require highly level trouble-shooting skills.
➢ Drive continuous improvement activities by participating in FRCA and PDCA initiatives and leading a LEAN workshop.
