Category Manager - Cheese Division
-Handle all the aspects of the Cheese division in Arla Foods relatively to ATL & BTL activities
-Set yearly marketing calendars and develop strategic plans aligned with the regional office and the MENA region.
-Ensure an all year round level of innovative activities and pro-active vis-à-vis competitor activities.
-Analyse competition brands and products and share findings with the management and the region.
-Plan and set with the supply chain orders and sales forecast.
-Initiate and implement trade marketing activities and secure they are optimized in relation to cost and campaign objective.
-Follow market development through frequent market visits and report feedback to the sales and the management.
-Give training & product knowledge sessions to the sales organization when needed - This is a must for all new employees of the company.
-Prepare marketing evaluation reports in reference to every activity and present it to the management and the GM.
-Analyse sales and merchandisers’ feedback in terms of market situation, gaps and potentials and propose new initiations accordingly.
-Sponsor Arla Graduate; prepare a new project with specified goals and objectives, guide and follow them during the 6 months period before the assessment and presentation in front of the Regional HR and office.
- Prepare new manuals
- Update available manuals.
- Prepare and follow up on training sessions
- Prepare certificates (Certificates of achievements and attendance)
- Handle guests incidents.
- Send e-mails to customers (Clarification, apology, thank you… emails)
- Organize comparative projects (Roadster diner relatively to competitors)…
- Close daily deposit, sending cash to the bank and coordinating with the finance department.
- Check, preparing and organizing purchase orders.
- Prepare the daily schedule for the employees, supervising them and ensuring guests’ satisfaction…
- Take orders from guests and advising them about some special items.
- Handle incidents and ensuring guests’ satisfaction.
- Train new or old employees for new positions (runners, hostesses, waiters..)
- Take appointments and welcoming patient.
- Prepare the surgery room and helping the doctor during the surgical treatment.
