Responsibilities:
To maintain all Security and Emergency Repsonse policy and procedures from Engineer remote worker tracking to Medivac and Operations room management.
I was employed as the head of Security and Emergency Repsonse management team, overseeing the security and safety for Three large Oil and Gas chemical processing facilities within Algeria. Responsible for the physical site security and the journey management of personnel within the company’s interests in the Algerian oil production fields. Building secure operation security procedures and maintaining strong physical security measures and promoting a strong cyber security awareness culture. The security management operation supports a 1500man workforce of direct and contractor personnel, living and working in a hostile remote environment. Working as the Regional Security Director part of my duties where to help mentor and develop the Algerian Government security representatives, National Military, Police and private security companies. Direct and manage operations for some 220 associates in operational emergency resolutions, Management of the timely data collection to update operational metrics on an hourly basis, in an inventory control and systems environment to achieve emergency support directed targets when supporting our clients. Be a Subject-Matter Expert on larger processes and activities on site, i.e. communication installation and management and alignment with operational standards and procedures across the network.
Responsibilities:
Maintained the Crisis Management and Emergency Response provisions required by BP Operating Management System, ensuring the establishment of BP Corporate crisis and continuity management (C&CM) framework development and implementation. Advised on developing a response strategy for the incident to minimizing the external impact on BP. Acted as the Emergency Response Consultant Advice and Leadership of incident Management Team (IMT) in the event of an crisis situations, responding to crisis and emergency events threatening harm to employees, contractors, company assets, and neighboring communities.
