My first career as an Artificer with my Tech Eng 1& 2 commenced in Borneo, then Germany & Netherlands. I completed my Engineering Career in the Royal & Mechanical Engineers. After a full Military Career I made my decision to change my second career in the Hospitality Industry. I attended a Hotel & Catering course in Plymouth Polytechnic. I was later selected to attend a course in York with the Hotel & Catering Training Board. I was interviewed by members of the Training Board circa 1988. My managerial position was interviewing Customers who wished to use our Hospitality Services. Discussing their want's & needs & the most appropriate function area according to numbers i.e: Restaurant or Ballroom we would discuss table plans & any associated accommodation requirements such as a Bridal Suite! I was able to increase our main Function Suite to cater for 220 guests depending upon their Table Plan requirements.
