Convinced the top management to invest in long-term infrastructure projects that would help IndianOil compete effectively in this market. Identified and procured 100 acres of suitable land for setting up a major pipeline fed terminal at Vizag. This terminal would be a game changer as the dependence on our competitor’s facilities would cease. This terminal once commissioned, would also help evacuate product from the new IOC refinery at Paradip in Orissa.

Modernised and changed the look and feel of all fuel stations of IOC in the beautiful City of Vizag.

Led team Vizag during the Cyclone HudHud that struck Vizag on 12th October 2014. The fuel retailing at the fuel stations were restored within 24 hours which helped avoid a fuel crisis in view of the panic buying that was about to set in. This was appreciated by the Chief Minister of the State. The IOC management also issued an Instrument of Appreciation for ‘leading the entire team to bring back normalcy in fuel supplies’.

Automated all fuel stations in the City of Vizag. The Union Minister of Civil Aviation, dedicated the automated outlets to the Nation. This was in line with the larger vision of the Company as well as the PM’s initiative of promoting smart cities.
