• Responsible for the overall supervision of the company working closely with the sales, finance and logistics managers.

• Increased the yearly turnover of the company from 500.000 USD to 12 million USD by expanding the distribution coverage and by diversifying the product portfolio of the company.

• Negotiated and contracted with new suppliers in order to secure a diversified brand portfolio such as Knorr ( food ingredient ), Lavazza ( coffee ), Papadopoulos ( biscuits ), Unirea ( margarine ), Heidi ( chocolates ) and others.

• Monitored and inspired a team of 50 employees to achieve the targets of the company and satisfy the expectations of the suppliers. While all sales targets were exceeded by 10 to 20 %, we were able to doubled the sales volume of Heidi Chocolates in six months after taking over the distribution for this brand.

• Developed a distribution system for the sales of Duty Free cigarettes in Romania. Doubled the profits of our company in this segment by implementing a strategy of gradual price increase while maintaining sales volumes.

• As part of company strategy of expanding in the luxury retail segment, planed and implemented the setting up of the ‘’ Bucharest korloff Boutique’’ for luxury Jewelry and watches ( The first luxury jewelry mono-boutique in Romania ).

• Facilitated negotiations at government levels by advising on the implementation of legislation favorable to the tobacco industry, especially for companies intending to set up a local production facility. As a result the company had a six months advantage over competition and increased sales by 300 % in this period.
