 Monitor any variances between existing forecasts, plans, and actual.
 Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends.
 Participate in the financial budgeting process.
 Ensure quantity targets are met along with the desired margin.
 Ensure right stock allocation at the right time in all the shops.
 Schedule merchandise depending on the various launches and within style (when and where to put how much Quantity - in shops).
 Prioritize warehouse inventory movement - both for new launches + sales times.
 Ensure control over replenishment in warehouse via pull out.
 Aging analysis and to take action against the slow moving items.
 Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management.
 Price revision keeping an eye over margin.
 Coordinate with Retail for promotional pricing.
 Pricing update during sale time with ensuring the desired margin keeping in view the Discount Strategy.
 Meet the season target (which is mostly at 90%) - major accountability.
 Controls and updates sales and sell-out reports.
 Prepares physical inventory plans and schedules.
 Performs reconciliation between inventory, accounting and MIS department.
 Performs monthly review for inventory closings and analyzes results obtained per month and per season.
 Follows up on problems and bugs with MIS and IT department.
 Provides Support to stores for all inventory needs and problems.
 Communicates with suppliers for inventory issues and problems.
 Monitors shipment and transfer transactions.
 Reporting to Concept Manager and General Manager.
 Market place analysis
 Product selection and negotiation
 Source a suppliers
 Review sales performance and optimize inventory
 Maintain relationships with suppliers
 Other duties as assigned.
