Job Responsibilities:
1. Respond to the scene and provide basic life support to the victims before they are transported to the hospital.
2. Determined the right course of action after evaluating the patient’s condition.
3. Provide medical aid such as CPR, prevent spinal damage, ventilation, control severe bleeding, and bandaging wounds to stabilize their condition.
4. Clean the equipment’s. Check and replace the used and damaged supplies.
5. Transfer patients to the emergency units of the hospital.
6. Administration oxygen.
7. Prepare a patient care report and take notes of the medical treatment given to them.
8. Sterilize the ambulance’s interior, if it used to carry a patient suffering from infectious disease.

Accountabilities:
1. To safely respond to emergency calls as required, providing emergency care in accordance with approved clinical guidelines and departmental and procedures.
2. To safely move and transport patients from the scene of an incident to a health care facility, or between health care facilities.
3. To assists Critical Care Paramedics in the advanced care of critically ill or injured patients.
4. To maintain operational and functional readiness of an ambulance unit (or rapid response unit, Life Cycles, Life Patrol or Life Flight helicopter), emergency medical equipment and disposable supplies.
5. To use technologies such as GIS mapping system and global positioning sstem (GPS) to navigate to the scene of illness or injury.
6. To communicate with the AS Communication Centre in a clear and concise manner using voice Communications by phone and radio or data transmission.
7. To ensure that supervisors and managers are apprised of significant events in compliance with Standard Operating Procedure.
Job Responsibilities:

2. Records the assessment to the patient, prioritizing data collection based on the patient’s immediate conditions or needs.
3. Performs appropriate treatments as ordered by the physician in an accurate and timely manner.
4. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions as established by individualized plan of care for the patient.
5. Provides health teaching for the patient and family.
6. Documents patient assessment findings, physical/psychological to nursing intervention and progress towards the problem.
7. Attends the patients need in emergency measures according to protocol of facility.
8. Maintain confidentiality in matters related to the patients, family and facility staff.
9. Endorsed properly and concise of the document of the patients to the next shift for continuing of care
10. Perform ECG as directed by the Doctors on duty.
11. Perform CPR depending on the current cases that is prevailing to the OPD.
12. Prepare patients for defibrillation as ordered and assist in the preparation of emergency drugs.
13. Continuously monitor vital signs and observe patient’s condition.
14. Observe safety of the patient - bed side rails up.

2. Counts pills, labels bottles, prices and compounds medications to prepare prescriptions for patients as directed.
