•Provision of a responsive customer call-out service, troubleshooting to keep operational production lines running for significant accounts (e.g. Cadbury, JLR, Kellogg's)
•Key requirements of the role were to assist customers in key product areas:
•Safety: assisting in design and specification
•Sensor applications: assisting with the design and specification of the correct sensors for the application
•Bar code readers: specifying the correct bar code reader for the application and ensuring system integration
•Vision Systems: demonstrating camera operations and integration into existing customer systems
Sales engineer with responsibility for customers in the West Midlands area
•Promoted to a role with responsibility for establishing the new distribution network covering the North of the UK and Scotland. This role included:
•Product specification and training: demonstrating how to choose the correct product, how they were programmed and how the products could be integrated into customer systems
•Stock Profiles: arranging the stock profiles for each customer to suit the industry they operated in

Initially employed to focus on internal sales before being promoted to Assistant Manager after two years with the company
•Assisted with the operational elements of the company relocation, responsible for organising the efficient transfer of stock, company records and paperwork.
•Placing orders with suppliers and working with them to achieve required delivery dates.
•One of few employees retained following sale of company to WF Electrical, responsible for management of existing customers where 70% of the business was retained
•I joined the company as a Business Development Manager which was a position I held until I left the company.
Internal sales
•Customer facing internal sales role, responsible for providing efficient trade counter operation. Role involved direct customer contact, providing customer quotes, accepting orders and ensuring availability of stock, with responsibility for sourcing items not held in stock.
•Stores based role, responsible for receiving ‘goods in' and preparation of customer orders. Moved to work on the trade counter after six months in a customer service role, accepting and preparing customer orders and ensuring the completion of appropriate paperwork and delivery notes.
Joined the company as a Trainee Electrician where I spent two years doing this role. After this time i was offered a role as a Estimator, responsibilities in this role included costing jobs, speaking with suppliers, ordering materials and equipment required.
