Duties & Responsibilities: ⦁ Admitting and discharging patients
⦁ Monitor vital signs as baseline for patient status
⦁ Assisting doctors and carry out orders correctly
⦁ Insertion of Intravenous line aseptically. Changing IV bottle.
⦁ Should be able to record and interpret patient data and arrange follow-up with doctors on a regular basis.
⦁ Complete hand over/take over of assigned patients including physically checking patients and their units.
⦁ Should make sure that the hospital wards are neat and clean as well as deliver nursing care in a manner that keeps up the name of the organization.
⦁ Prepare, administer and document the administration of oral and parental medications, as well as blood transfusion. Knowledgeable of the therapeutic effect, usual dosage, contraindication side effect and adverse reaction for all drugs and parental administration.
⦁ Proper documentation of nursing procedures performed to the patients
⦁ Coordinate with other healthcare department to provide holistic patient care.
⦁ Provides health teaching,
⦁ Provides safety, privacy and comfort to the patients
