• Manages and supervises the IT Servicedesk team and L1 Engineers for Hamad Port where the team uses IT Service Management tools such as ManageEngine to issue tickets to Engineers and Technicians for IT support requests from Hamad Port and its stakeholders.
• Provide quality control and assurance for Servicedesk. Maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure that SLA conditions are fulfilled
• Handling day-to-day Servicedesk and Data Center maintenance activities and staff to maintain overall efficiency and productivity.
• Producing management reports from ManageEngine and Data Center Information Management tools.
• Giving input to SLA negotiations and reviews
• Representing customer issues within support organization
• Planning for capacity changes using Data Center Information Management software (DCIM)
• Ensuring compliance with customer regulations and policies
• Implements company ISMS and IT policies to adhere to IT security and quality standards.
• Package Lead - Operations Control Rooms. Responsible for the deployment and commissioning of Operations Control Rooms for Hamad Port serving as the operations hub of the terminal operator, hosting multiple systems such as integrated communication systems and terminal operating systems.
• Package Lead - Integrated Communications System. Responsible for the successful integration, deployment, and commissioning of ICS that interfaces Hamad Ports PBX and TETRA systems through LAN infrastructure.
• Package Lead - Vehicle Monitoring System. Responsible for the successful integration, deployment, and commissioning of VMS systems that track and monitors vehicles inside Hamad Port.
• Prepares required documentation such as Operations and Maintenance Manuals, Training Manuals, and Interface Control Documents (ICD) describing the interface(s) between systems or subsystems and its inputs and outputs.
• Manages the Internal IT systems, IT security, and IT projects for PMO site offices.
• Manages Salam Technology’s messaging and collaboration systems using Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Skype for business).
• Administration of HPP Project Site Office LAN, WAN, and Windows Servers (VMs and Host Servers) and company domain.
• Providing consultancy in all IT related purchases. Reviews and approves departmental budgets and expenses, staff hiring, and conduct interviews for prospective technical staff.
• Maintains the site office internet and telephony services.
• Administration of Salam Technology’s network security and Virtual Private Networks (VPN) gateways using firewalls.
• Administration of Salam Technology’s infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management.

• Administration of UDC’s multi-site network operations and software applications, operating systems to ensure the computer network performance meets company and user satisfaction. Includes maintenance and monitoring of UDC's main datacenter, server rooms, wireless network and other server infrastructure.
• Maintains UDC’s messaging infrastructure with Microsoft Exchange 2013 and e-mail archiving and security using Symantec products and load balancing using F5 networks.
• Administration & installation of Windows 2012 Domain Controllers. Active Directory Design & Architecture. File, and Print Servers.
• Coordinates, prepares, and submit required information, logs and reports of UDC's network and systems with Internal Audit Department for yearly internal audit exercises.
• Preparing monthly team reports including status of projects and activities and listing ongoing and completed projects.
• Reviews ICT project plans and proposals, then works with management to develop project objectives and prepares request for quotation (RFQ).
• Reviews technical bids; oversees and coordinates the technical aspects of UDC projects and assigns personnel to specific phases and elements of the project.
• Liaises and coordinates with local ISP’s and PABX vendors to maintain UDC’s internet and telephony services such as IP-VPN links, ADSL, and PRI.
• Administers UDC user’s endpoint security with Symantec Endpoint Protection antivirus servers.
• Administration of web proxy using Microsoft TMG and Barracuda Web Filter for UDC networks.
• Administration of UDC’s network security using Juniper Firewalls.
• Administration of UDCs SSL-VPN gateway services using Juniper appliance.
• Administration of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for UDC network security policy management.
• Administration of Cisco PRIME for management of UDC’s wired and wireless network.
• Administration of UDC’s infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management.
• Administration of UDC Virtual Machines and host servers using Microsoft Hyper-V.
