• To coordinate implementation of the company HSE policies, Safety Management System and Project/location specific Safety Management Plans as they apply to the location.
• Ensure the location complies with the relevant Occupational and Safety Legislation and the respective client's safety requirements.
• Ensure the safety of any subordinates and ensure their compliance with established safety policies, procedures and practices. Inspect the plant or site and to be present with labors to motive for “Safety First”.
• Safety inspections and audits.
• Preparation of a project safety plan.
• Conducting daily routine inspection to site employee observe all safety rules and regulation & take necessary action to obtain compliance with all safety policies.
• Ensure proper use of PPE such as safety harness, safety gloves, safety glasses, safety shoes, safety helmet, ear plugs etc.
• Take care of work permit to ensure work is done safely and proper precautions.
• Prepare weekly, monthly safety reports.
• Ensure that healthy work environment is maintained.
• Conduct gas test, maintain log sheet for confined space and ensure employees are following the confined space entry procedure.
• Make sure that the electrical lock out tag out system is being followed properly.
• Attend all project safety meeting with client.
