I'm working as a freelance Technical Consultant in the area of Building Services / Facilities, using all my experience in electrical, lighting and security infrastructures.

I was responsible for the Oporto based Dep. of Special Technical Works (Facilities) in charge of turn-key projects in Portugal, Spain, Angola and Mozambique of the Portuguese branch of SERMICRO.
I worked closely w/ the International Expansion Manager to transform each commercial opportunity in a winning bid and, later, into a successful project
for all the stakeholders.
From july 2015 I also managed the Tyco Retail Solutions account for the north/center of Portugal as Sermicro had taken the role of national sub-contractor for its electronic security projects (EAS, CCTV, Intrusion, Fire Detection, etc. from its several
brands such as Sensormatic, American Dynamics, Software House, etc.), including new installations, refits and maintenance contracts. We took over all of Tyco's own operations in Portugal and worked with both internal teams and sub-contractors. Because of this contract, I became Sermicro's Technical Supervisor in charge of the commercial and operational SCIE activities (fire security inside buildings), registered before the National Civil Protection Authority (ANPC).

I was responsible for technical procurement;
I also act as Project Coordinator, assist the Production Manager in quantity surveying, planning and coordinating projects, assist the Commercial Manager with tender analysis and specifications and the Financial Manager with the cost control.

I was responsible for the LV and MV working permit of the company.
During 2008 I was the procurement manager.
Between 2009 and 2011, I was part of the commercial department working closely w/ the CEO in all tender analysis, preparation of BOQ and Pricing as well as customer negotiations.

Assist the Commercial Manager in all relevant matters and phases of the business process;
Produce the budgets in accordance to the respective tender conditions;
Assist, Supervise and Coordinate the work of the production teams.

Import, promote, distribute and sell lighting equipment from outstanding European brands such as Hoffmeister Leuchten, Agabekov, Holophane Europe, LTS Licht & Leuchten, Baulmann Leuchten, Delta Light, and others;
Lighting Design projects and in Turn-Key Lighting Projects.

Import and distribution in the northern Portuguese market of the lighting products from the brands Hoffmeister and Regent;
Distribution in the northern Portuguese market of the Philips Lighting range of products;
Promotion of the commercial range of lighting products as well as technical support to clients (electrical installers) and project consultants, engineering departments of municipalities and other key partners;
Coordination of the lighting installation projects.

Sales Manager for the northern Portuguese market of SALICRU products (UPS, tension stabilizers, isolation transformers, AC converters, tension regulators, etc.).

I worked as Technical Consultant, Assistant to the General Manager and Technical Manager of the Lighting Department of SONERES José Sereno Publicidade e Iluminação Lda., a Portuguese manufacturer and exporter of lighting and publicity equipment, specialist and pioneer of engineering plastics thermoforming, where I had the opportunity of being responsible for various activities and services.
