Currently, responsible of oilfield revitalization by EOR and production optimization. With 30 years’ experience working in International Research & Development Centers, in a National Oil Company and as independent consultant. Holds a BSc in Chemistry, a PhD with Honors in Geochemistry from Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV) and a Post Doctorate from Yale University.
Dr. Mogollón experience comprises heavy-medium-and light oil waterflooding - EOR laboratory, field pilot test and full field design, monitoring and optimization; geochemistry of injection-production waters; subjects in which he has over 60 publications and three book chapters.
He served as Full Professor in the UCV. He is frequently invited as speaker in Applied Technical Workshop of the SPE and as member of international conference technical committees and also teaches courses in his area of expertise.
