Responsibilities: electric/hydraulic inspection and
maintenance in many types of cranes (McGregor,
Liebherr, TTS, Hydralift, Terex and NOV). Control
systems, solenoids, valves and sensors (pressure,
flow, temperature, slack wire, return, safety,
level, directional, etc).
Installation and commissioning
(Valaris and Transocean) of 6th generation EFC
drilling systems (MGS, MPD, Flow Valve, Flare,
Buffer, Choke & Kill and general wiring at Rig
Floor). Valves, sensors, transmitters, function test
and startup equipment, troubleshooting, panels,
switchboards, breakers, VFD & AC/DC motors.
In charge of preventive and
corrective maintenance in all electrical &
electronic equipment on PLSV and AHTS DP2:
engine room, bridge, accommodation, galley,
communication and DP systems.

Responsibilities: I worked as a
Responsibilities: I’ve worked with 02 Electricians
and 01 ET. Hands on and E & I supervision of all
systems (Eng. Room, Bridge, DP Systems and
Propulsion, on board a DP3 “Floatel” OOS Gretha).
Besides the short time in this job, it was very
productive, when we could eliminate intermittent
Gangway disconnections faults and a good
improvement in potable water heating system.
It was a startup of the land rig
KDC33 with an option of permanent contract. This
was a 6th generation Amphion System NOV Land
Rig. Supervision of four assistant electricians and
two instrument technicians.
E & I supervision and
commissioning (startup of Peregrino B Statoil).
After start-up, hands on the maintenance and
operation of all electrical drilling equipment
(Amphion System NOV Drillship), Fiber Optics,
Totco, 06 x SCR IPS and 06 x 1.8 Kva, CAT D3516).
Main team goal in this project: the “First Oil”.
(shipyard, Rio de Janeiro)
Responsibilities: Supervision and “hands on” of
the upgrade project on SS-50. Achievements:
installation of Bubble System, NOV Drilling Rig
Sense, Air Compressors Package and CO2 System.
Supervision & execution of
electrical maintenance (Drillship DWD, NOV Rig
Sense): Top Drive, Draw Work, Mud Pump, Diesel
Generators, CCTV, VFD, PLC, UPS, MCC, SCR &
: Electronic Tech/FPSO (2004)
