Yanbu Power and Desalination Plant - Phase III (Saline Water Conversion Corporation - SWCC) \[Main Contractor: Samsung Engineering & Doosan Construction\], Yanbu, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Duties:
•Direct coordination to the Lead Civil Engineer.
•Daily supervision at work site.
•Review Method Statement and ITP submitted by the contractor.
•Inspection, comments and closure of IR / RFI's submitted by the contractor.
•Witnessing laboratory tests, field tests, trial mixes and calibration of equipments carried by the third party independent laboratory.
•Witnessing concrete specimen sample crushing.
•Attends geotechnical works execution for soil investigation(Pile Load Test, Zone Load Test, Cone Penetration Test, Pressure Meter Test) ensuring test procedures are in accordance to the project specification and ITP requirements.
•Surveillance inspection in the execution soil improvements (CIP Piles, Stone Columns - Dynamic Replacement, Vibro Replacement and Dynamic Compaction)
•Report from Receive and Inspects Material Receiving Inspection the Contractor.
•Carry-out survey checking request from the contractor.
•Review and interprets project plan and project specification.
•Attends Weekly Progress Meeting together with the Contractor's and Client's representatives
Jeddah Municipality Projects Roads & Civil Dept. Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Duties:
•Direct coordination to the Construction Manager.
•Prepares technical reports and its attachments of all work line items intended for a certain Job Order to be issued to the contractor.
•Prepares working plan schedule in quarterly basis.
•Submits weekly and monthly accomplishments of the project to the Construction Manager.
•Daily supervision of site works concerning to the approve Job Orders and giving site instructions to the contactor's site engineers/supervisors.
•Submits daily report to the Construction Manager.
•Review on project specifications of the contract.
•Review for acceptance, rectification or rejection of all job order completion notice submitted by the contractor.
•Attends weekly meeting with the contractor's representative.
