• Performing retail duties, attending to customer inquiries, and providing excellent customer service to customers.
• Assisting in the opening and closing of the retail store.

• Responsible in approaching customers as they enter the store inquiring about the type of furniture they want, making suggestions as I show customers around and closing the sale.
• Answers queries the customers ask, conduct suggestive selling so as to move multiple products, process the paperwork and arrange financing when needed.
• Responsible for arranging any fabric change requests for the paperwork and arrange financing when needed.
• Responsible for arranging displays, putting up any point-of-sale information, doing physical inventory counts and assisting the store manager with orders.
• Exchanging merchandise for customers, arranging display for promotions, cleaning counters and organizing merchandise on shelves and straightening up at the end of the day
•Involved in stock control management.
•Assist shoppers to find products they are looking for.
•Responsible for processing cash and card payments.
•Stocking shelves with merchandise.
•Answers queries. Greeting customers who enter the shop.
•Reports discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.
•Gives advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
•Balancing cash registers with receipts.
•Keeps the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping.
•Responsible dealing with customer complaints.
•Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
•Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
•Responsible for security with the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
•Receives and stores delivery of large amounts of stock.
Keeping up-to-date with special promotions and putting up displays.
