Worked as a QA/QC Inspector - Welding. Reporting to QC Manager/QC Supervisor, Reviewing of QC documents, Method of statements, ITP, QCP, Project scope and client specification, Review of WPS/PQR and witnessing the welder’s performance qualification test, Perform the all weld visual inspection through RFI by SAIPEM/ARAMCO, Selection of weld joints first production of welders for NDE (RT), Monitoring the in process welding activities at production shop, Monitoring the welding consumables Baking and Holding as per procedure, NDE Selection and Monitoring during in process of NDE (RT/PT/UT/MT/PMI), Preparing and updating the welders JCC/WQT Records, conducting the weekly training program for welders on repair status, coordinating with clients, NDT crew and coordinator on daily issue, responsible for controlling the repair rate as per Objectives and target.
Working as QA/QC Inspector for Storage Tanks. Inspected aboveground storage tanks and Coordinating with Client’s Construction manager and contractor QA/QC Engineer and review of daily inspection reports. Informing and regular reporting to clients Sr. Engineer (QA & QC).Coordinating and inspecting all quality related activities as per ITP including fitup and dimension inspections, weld visual, Blasting and coating, welding and painting repairs, vaccum box test, pneumatic test, diesel test, NDT reports and RT film review, Punch list follow up, NDE Map preparation.
Working as QC Engineer for Storage Tanks and Associated pipe line construction. Coordinating with Client’s Construction manager and contractor QA/QC manager and review of daily inspection reports. Informing and regular reporting to clients Sr. Engineer (QA & QC).Coordinating and inspecting all quality related activities as per ITP including weld visual, Blasting and coating, welding and painting repairs, Fit-ups and dimension inspections NDT reports and RT film review, Punch list follow up, NDE Map preparation.
Worked as QC Engineer Includes the job responsibility on all kinds of quality related activities includes dimensional, fit-up, welding and painting inspections as per Client specification, Closely surveillance Mechanical tests, NDT and welding parameters, Calibration of testing equipment and materials, Regular reporting of site activities to site manager. Attending weekly meetings with Client regarding QA /QC matters. Leak test and Hydro test, Test pack review, issuing punch list and clearing punch items.
Worked as a QC Inspector. MTC / MTR review, Raw material Inspections, Preparation of ITP and making sure that the job is carried out accordingly, Performing Welder Qualification Tests for various Welding procedure specifications as per ASME Section IX and ASME B 31.3, Checking the adequacy of equipment for preheating, welding, heat treatments and weld examinations, Checking the adequacy of the heat treatment technique and the recorded diagram & Initiate DR or NCR and following for correction as required, Checking the issuance of the document required by contract specification, Checking the Pre weld and Post weld heat treatment requirement and reports, Monitoring the capability of each welder on the basis of NDT Reports, Review of Radiographic films, Witnessing of Vacuum box test, RF Pad leak test, Ultrasonic tests, PT and MPT, Witnessing of Pressure testing of pipes, vessels & valves (Hydro/Pneumatic)
Attended workshop in Anna University, Coimbatore, on the topic of Know your Bike. Attended Soft skill straining program conducted by Infosys -Campus Connect.
