• Receive instructions from and work under the supervision of Saudi Aramco Supervisor.
• Prepare for checking Load Calculations Required for determining service requirements, cables, conduit sizes, illumination levels and voltage drop.
• Layout electrical plan and detail drawing using MicroStation, Auto Cad software for the development of the design packages and drawings and assist identify necessary design element to comply with code after requirements such as NEC, IEC, API etc.
• Develop detailed design packages including drawings, calculations, related materials specifications, interaction with vendors for electrical related packages.
• Prepare new key electrical design drawing, including single line diagrams, cable schedule, electrical details of new equipment, using Bentley MicroStation for new projects. Modify existing electrical design drawing using Bentley MicroStation.
• Ability to use Saudi Aramco iPlant drawing management system for searching of existing project related drawings.
• Conduct field survey to gather data and help in formulating a safe, constructible and economically viable solution for the project in hand.
• Prepare construction material take-off lists for the materials called in the design drawings. Evaluate technical submittals for various electrical systems. Find solutions for various technical problems related to building electrical system.
• Review vendor catalogs to identify available equipments, components, and system elements.
• Write scope of works and detailed specifications for the electrical, telephone and data systems.
• Assist project engineer as required to provide technical support during construction/implementation stage.
• Provide mentoring and transfer technical knowledge and skills to less experienced engineers, Designer and Draftsmen.
• Troubleshooting (Cable Lines, Amplifiers, Power Supply and Truck Lines)
• Checking of cable lines of subscribers
• Installation of fiber optic cables and optical receiver installation
• Plotting of distribution lines on the designated areas
• Implement HSE policy and organize sites so that all activities is carried out to the required standard, with minimum risk to men, equipment and materials.
• Planning and supervising site installation activities related to complete Electrical works including Cabling, Termination, Power Earthing / Grounding, Fire Alarm, telephone, security, CCTV, lighting, lighting protection, cable tray, cable trunking, data automation & controls, public address and panel installation.
• Confer with Project manager, Planning engineer, QA/QC Engr. HSE Engr., customer and others to discuss existing or potential engineering project and products.
• Inspect completed installation and observes operation to ensure conformance to design and equipment specification and compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Review drawings for execution of works.
• To Ensure that all works is carried out had been inspected and approved by concerned contractor.
• Assist during testing, commissioning and assist Consultant in handling over the project.
• Supervise the preparation of work time schedule for the completion of the project.
• Fully incharge in the organization, mobilization and control of manpower, equipments and facilities within the project.
• Prepare progress report and submit it to the Project Manager or concerned superior.
• Report directly to the manager or concerned superior any problems or revision encountered during the time of construction.
• Attend coordination regularly with the Foreman/Supervisor.
• Prepare Cost estimate for the new modification work (variation).
• Making As-Built.
• Checking Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
• Material Take-off, Method Statement (M.S.), Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Prepare Request For Site Inspection(RFI)

• Monitors all projects in relation with approved quality standards and document observations for the review of QA/QC personnel’s. Recommends the necessary actions to the Project Managers.
• Issuing, verifying and closing of Non-Performance Report (NCR)
• Work closely with the client and the consultant, and pro-actively managing their complaints.
• Ensures that suppliers meet the agreed technical specifications by implementing the relevant quality checks, in coordination with the project Managers and Project Engineers.
• Determines the specification for each project in accordance with the client and consultants requirements and established standards.
• Assists the QA/QC Manager in implementation of ISO 9001 systems and standards in coordination with the ISO Management respectively.
• Closely monitor site activity to ensure quality of work is in compliance with the shop drawings and contract requirements, good construction practices and only approved materials are used.
• Ensure of compliance with FAT and SAT Procedures and Standards, and ensures that the related tests are properly done by the supplier.
• Participates in the testing and commissioning process at the end of the project, to ensure the quality of the work done.
• Check calibration of instrument and record observation for review of QA/QC Manager.
• Check the material delivery vis-à-vis approved specifications, handling and storing at the project site/stores. Communicates the QA/QC Managers pertaining to any irregularities observed for rectification.
• Research & Analysis of Staking Sheet on File (May 3 to July 23, 2005)
• Plotting and Conversion of Staking Details to Single Line Diagram (May 3 to August 31, 2005);
• Plotting the design of the distribution system that deliver electricity from power plants (substations) to customers like residences and businesses
• Experienced in plotting Single Line Diagrams, Three Line Diagrams
• Verification & Confirmation of Staking Details (May 3 to August 31, 2005);
• Mapping of the distribution system from power substation to primary lines (3-phase to single phase) to secondary lines to households.
• Inventory of Distribution Line and Equipments (June 1 to March 31, 2006);
• Primary Line Inventory to Distribution Transformers (Domestic/Private) to Secondary Lines (Under-built/Open Secondary) to residential KwHr meters data
