• Troubleshoot, modify, test, and install electrical systems and equipment as per aircraft maintenance manual such as Airbus 318/319/320/321, Airbus 340/330, Airbus 350, Boeing 777.
• Perform assigned work in support of the assembly, removal, installation, repair, replacement, and operational check as per aircraft manuals.
• Perform post-flight and pre-flight maintenance in accordance with local and international aviation standards.
• Consult with pilots regarding any discrepancies reported on company aircrafts.
• Writing up accurate and truthful aircraft maintenance documentation records.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering orders, service bulletins and other specifications to determine method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damage aircraft components.
• Maintains upkeep of work area, materials, and tools.
• Meet tight deadlines to ensure no service disruption and aircraft depart on schedule.
This is a diversified course in Electronics and Communications, designed and developed specifically for Aviation Electronics used in both airborne and ground equipments introduced for conventional and wide-bodied aircraft with emphasis on air navigation and computer communications. The course covers the operation and maintenance of aircraft instruments from an engineering point of view. Present day aircrafts use computerized electronic airborne equipment, highly sophisticated ground equipment's have likewise been installed in numerous modern airports, both domestic and international.
The Aircraft Technician Course is a two-year fast track course designed to prepare the students for different skill-oriented jobs in the highly specialized field of aircraft maintenance. Students desiring to take this course must be mechanically inclined high school graduates. Comprehensive technical training, both theoretical and practical, is given on the maintenance, inspection, overhaul, repair, servicing and troubleshooting of airframes, powerplants, propellers and accessories.
