Directed a team in developing a business idea that encourages the use of environmentally friendly
and physically healthy modes of transport, such as cycling or walking, over driving. This comes in the
form of a mobile application that rewards its users points whenever they walk or cycle to their
destination rather than drive.
• Surveyed the staff of bicycle shops in Bristol to assess market potential, discovering that our
business idea was marketable and obtained potential partners around the city.
Contributed to the digitalisation of the company's aircraft Structure Damage and Repair Report
system by generating an image processing code using MATLAB. This eliminated the need for multiple
transfers of physical paper from one department to another to report a single damage, improving
efficiency and reducing errors.
• Presented the project to staff members from the Structures division of the Engineering Services
office, resulting in future implementation of the technology in the company.
